A Personal Note from Andrew Estey, Co-Founder & CEO of QLTY Work Boots

When we started QLTY Work Boots, the vision was never just about creating a product. It was about solving a problem that I saw time and time again—an issue that hits home for millions of blue-collar workers across the country. For too long, these men and women, who are quite literally the backbone of our society, have been underserved by an industry that takes their hard-earned money but rarely gives back in terms of real value, quality, or comfort.

From construction sites to factory floors, these are the folks who show up day in and day out—through snow, rain, and blistering heat. They’re not looking for recognition; they’re not seeking the spotlight. But they deserve to have their needs met. I’ve always believed that the gear they rely on—their boots, in particular—should work just as hard as they do. That’s what led to the creation of QLTY Work Boots.

Our mission was simple: to craft boots that provide unparalleled comfort, durability, and safety, without breaking the bank. We cut out the middleman, focused on what really mattered, and made sure our boots would hold up under the toughest conditions. This is our way of respecting the trade, of showing that we see and value the hard work our friends in the trades put in every single day.

Of course, in building something new, we’ve encountered our share of naysayers—there will always be those who doubt or criticize, and that’s okay. Some people won’t see the vision, and there will always be individuals who will hate. But we’ve stayed laser-focused on our goal: meeting the needs of the people who wear our boots. Every decision we make, every innovation we pursue, is centered on the real feedback and experiences of the hardworking professionals who trust QLTY on the job.

I can tell you, though, what excites me the most is not just what we’ve built so far, but where we’re going. We're on a mission to do more than just sell boots—we're building a brand for the future, one that understands the evolving needs of the modern blue-collar worker. The world is changing, but the need for quality, honest products that truly deliver will always remain.

There’s an undeniable sense of pride in knowing that, even in a small way, we’re helping to make someone’s workday just a little bit easier, a little bit safer. And that’s what keeps us pushing forward every day. We’re not just another workwear brand—we’re a community built by, and for, the people who do the hard work. The folks who are often unseen but always essential. They’re why we started this journey, and they’ll continue to be the driving force behind every boot we make.
